About M*D* Eye Care Malibu

Our office is a primary medical eye care practice, modeled as an Ideal Medical Micropractice where we emphasize the patient-doctor interaction in a low-volume, high quality, closely attentive practice.

Our goal is to provide medical eye care to the local community, at home, in the community; additionally, we plan to supplement this care, when necessary, with direct access to Jules Stein Eye Institute, where Dr. Ransome is attending physician and surgeon, so that patients may receive any consultation or specialized testing they may need or require. This unique ability to offer both local care in Malibu, and direct access to a “world class” eye hospital and its physicians and facilities will be of particular advantage for our patients.

Our practice is ultraconscientious and hyperdiligent, with our first and primary concern being the patient's welfare.

We care for patients with general ophthalmologic conditions including Macular degeneration, Cataract, Conjunctivitis/pink eye, Diabetic eye diseases, Dry eyes, Glaucoma, Tearing; Retinal conditions including Epiretinal membrane, Macular hole, Retinovascular diseases (retinal artery or vein occlusion); Ocular inflammatory diseases/uveitis; and HIV-associated eye diseases.
